TRADITIONAL Curriculum WITH fLEXIBILITY

Our curriculum encompasses the

traditional requirements set forth

by the ACGME as well as allows

a great deal of flexibility to best

personalize the educational

experience for each resident.

Each resident meets with their

advisor during their intern year

to discuss overall goals and

desires during residency and

beyond.  Then residents may

choose to follow a traditional

curriculum with a variety of

electives or may focus their

electives on one area of interest

based on the multiple track systems

that have been established.  The track

templates offer a clear guide for residents

to follow that want to graduate with a concentrated

interest in one aspect of family medicine such as

sports medicine or obstetrics (see below). Currently we offer seven tracks in addition to the traditional curriculum.
